Austin Diocese to release the names of their clergy charged with sexual abuse

Austin's Bishop Joe S Vasquez said they are hiring an outside investigator to look over their records dating back to 1950 and will later release the names of those credibly accused of sexually assaulting a child.

And for those whose names are made public, Vasquez said the judgment could be waiting, either from the church or the courts.

Vasquez hopes to have a list of names published by the end of January.
