Congressional debate over funding a border wall is coming together in Washington DC

There will be no government shutdown over border wall funding...That’s according to Texas Senator John Cornyn.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has a draft of the border funding bill set to be debated after the mid-term elections.  It’s got $23.4 billion dollars to build President Trump’s wall.  Senator Cornyn said they‘ve even taken steps to prepare for the upcoming fight.  Cornyn is pushing for border security that includes a wall, technology and boots on the ground.
