Industrial Hemp could become the next big cash crop in Texas

As the US Senate gears up to lift restrictions on growing hemp with the 2018 farm bill, hemp advocates want to see the state of Texas get in on what could be a major cash crop. US Hemp Roundtable's Jonathan Miller tells a Texas House agricultural committee that by 2020 it could be a two billion dollar industry.

Miller says hemp growers cannot grow marijuana in their fields because the hemp pollination ruins marijuana plants.
