Senator Cruz, Governor Abbott's Campaigns Called Into Question By Democrats

Texas Democrats are calling for an investigation into what role the data harvesting of 50-million Facebook profiles may have had on electing Republicans. This revolves around the exchange of data between Cambridge Analytica and another firm used by both the campaigns of Governor Abbott and Senator Ted Cruz. The party’s executive deputy director Manny Garcia says they’re asking Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to set up a bi-partisan commission.

The Cruz 2016 Presidential campaign insists the Cambridge Analytica data was legal.
