Severe droughts reported in parts of Texas Hill Country

Parts of the Texas Hill Country are in a severe drought according to the newest map released today by the US Drought Monitor. Parts of Llano, Mason and Gillespie Counties are in an extreme drought.

Travis, Hays, Williamson and Caldwell Counties are in a moderate drought with Bastrop County in an abnormally dry intensity.
