Jay Hartzell Named UT President, Ed Clements Concedes
In case you missed it, Jay Hartzell was named the next President at The University of Texas. He has been affiliated with UT for over 25 years, from a graduate student, professor, he’s also been the Interim President since April.

Unfortunately, with this comes a tough defeat for our very own Ed Clements. He was very much looking forward to being named the next President at UT and did not see this coming at all.
So with that… Ed Clements has conceded defeat to Mr. Hartzell, and prepared a speech for all to hear:

You can just hear the sadness in his voice, if ONLY B-DOE did more to help him cross the finish line at the end.
