The City of Austin has issued waterway bans for part of this week in response to flood gate operations ordered by the Lower Colorado River Authority, one of the victims of last week’s flooding has been identified as a graduate of Westlake High School and the City of Austin is considering a charter that would only allow citizen-led petitions to make it onto the ballot in an even-numbered year.
