Supreme Court hears arguments on citizenship question for next year's census

The question before the high court, should someone be asked if they are a U.S. citizen on next year’s census form.

There is a concern that both illegal immigrants and even migrants here legally will simply skip filling out the form if that question is included.

Texas A&M Professor Dudley Poston said if everyone fills out the form Texas could have three additional seats in Congress.

Since census figures also are used to apportion federal dollars, Texas could lose billions because of an undercount.
