Austin-based startup showing off their smart water meters at SXSW

The company is called H2Optimize. CEO Jim Brotherton said his product is called the Hydroidmeter.

He said it’s especially good for multi-tenant commercial and residential situations. H2Optimize is looking for beta testers.

Bottom-line conscious business and homeowners will soon have a new tool available to better track water consumption.

CEO Jim Brotherton said they tested it out at a strip center in San Marcos that had a national pizza chain and found they were using 90-95{a77561a3d577901ee15dca150fea59fe3467aeb2007c1dd097ee2f4c696e6096} of the water.
