NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Recently country superstar duo Brooks & Dunn started noticing that a new generation of country stars, from Kacey Musgraves to Luke Combs, were covering their classic songs during concerts.
That inspired the Grammy-winning duo to get back in the studio together for the first time in a decade to record collaborations with country music’s brightest stars. The record called “Reboot” includes classic Brooks & Dunn hits sung with artists like Musgraves and Combs, as well as Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett, Brothers Osborne, Ashley McBryde and more.
The duo said many of these artists grew up listening to Brooks & Dunn’s music, but added their own twists to their recordings. The record will be available April 5.
