The City of Buda will be participating in the “Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off” on Saturday, April 6, 2019. The local event is sponsored by the City of Buda, the Parks Commission, and the Sustainability Commission. The “Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off” is part of the Keep Texas Beautiful Trash-Off and the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup.
Volunteers will gather at the Buda Municipal Complex located at 405 Loop Street at 8 am for a quick breakfast, clean-up assignments, and information. Teams will then be sent out to pick up trash along roadways and parks in different areas of the City.
Volunteers can learn more and register to participate at http://ci.buda.tx.us/budatrashoff . The first 50 volunteers to register will receive a volunteer shirt at the event.
The city is encouraging you to gather your community groups, school organizations, neighborhood associations, and youth groups and register today.
