A man who burglarized Austin homes and businesses last year repeatedly is sentenced to ten years in prison according to the Travis County DA.
Frank Flores pleaded guilty to six counts of burglary of a building and will serve a concurrent sentence. Prosecutors had 17 other burglary of a building cases pending against him.
The DA’s office says Flores broke into multiple businesses around Austin and Travis County throughout August and September of 2018. Austin Police arrested Flores in October after spotting him early one morning at a gas station that was closed. Officers ran his plate revealing a warrant for his arrest, Police found clothes, burglary tools and license plates with velcro backs in his vehicle, which matched the description of a vehicle seen at each incident. Flores pleaded guilty to burglarizing Woody’s Country Market, The Bread Basket, Petro Mart, Cafe Java, Thai Cuisine and Steiner Cleaners.
