That’s according to Austin Firefighter’s Association president Bob Nicks, who says he is happy about Austin City Council’s backing.
Nicks said AFD is aggessively pursuing land for a new fire station in Del Valle as well as one for Travis Country.
The station under construction at Onion Creek is scheduled to open in January
