A Buda teen is behind bars in Hays County for allegedly burglarizing vehicles in July and August. Hays County Sheriff Gary Cutler says after an exhaustive investigation, 17-year-old Matthew Xavier Acosta is charged with nine counts of breaking into cars, 2 counts of stealing guns and evading arrest.
His bond was set at 61 thousand dollars. Cutler says the thefts occurred day and night and from unlocked vehicles.
