If you are looking for a ride to and from a New Year’s Eve gathering, Capitol Metro may be the answer.
Cap Metro is offering free rides after 5 p.m. on all of its services on December 31st. That includes late-night service on MetroRail, MetroRapid, and MetroExpress routes 980 and 985 until 2:30 a.m. New Year’s Day. Cap Metro is urging people to try transit, saying it is a way to avoid surge pricing by ride-sharing companies on New Year’s Eve.
