Today, a new chapter begins for the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs. 26 people were shot to death during services there in 2017, and the old church building was torn down. Today, a new building is being dedicated. Pastor Frank Pomeroy says there have been many ups and downs in the process of rebuilding the church.
One of the people killed in the mass shooting was Pomeroy’s daughter.
