City leaders are pushing hard to win your approval of a $925-million bond package this November.
Proposition A, which is $250-million for taxpayer-subsidized housing, is something council member Greg Casar says is necessary to put roofs over thousands of people’s heads who live on the streets.
Mayor Steve Adler is also a fan of Proposition A, as well as several other propositions dealing with flood mitigation, libraries, and cultural museums. However, at a press conference, there was no mention of Proposition K, which would call for an audit of the entire city government to identify potentially millions of dollars in wasteful spending.
