Hutto water utility customers will be paying less now that the city has renegotiated its contract with Manville Water Supply. City CFO Michelle Sorrell said the rate is dropping from $4.20 per 1000 gallons to $3.50.
Sorrell also said an added benefit here is that the contract mandates that Hutto’s rates will always be lower than any other city serviced by Manville Water.
Oh, and as for Hutto’s April water bill? Don’t sweat it, said Sorrell, since all will receive a full month’s credit on the next bill.
