Environment Texas wants Austin ISD to follow through on a 2013 solar panel promise.
The Group’s Emma Pabst says the District promised to spend 10-million on solar panels, but so far have only spent 4-million. So they took it up with the school board. She says they found support among some school board members to expand the use of solar power in the district.
Pabst says they want to see solar panels on every AISD school by 2025.
