After being quiet for a while, the Texas nationalist movement is back, encouraging members of the legislature to introduce a bill in the next session to allow voters to decide whether Texas should become an independent country. President Daniel Miller says we would be right in line with the tide these days.
Miller says with our energy wealth, huge trade footprint and size and population, Texas would make it just fine as an independent nation.
