In District 8 the election’s lone conservative was beat out by Democrat Paige Ellis. Following the results of the run off, Flannigan says it shows what voters are looking for in their elected officials. Flannigan said this show Austin doesn’t want to build in three month long delays or be forced through a huge audit.
Flannigan also said District 8 Couniclmember elect Paige Ellis’ message piqued his interest as it melded with her approach to services and housing with environmentalism.
Flannigan believes that message will be very productive on the dais.
