A federal lawsuit is charging 3-M with supplying faulty earplugs to military members in Iraq and Afghanistan. The suit claims many service members suffered hearing damage because of the earplugs says, Attorney T.J. Mayes. He says there was no choice but to use these earplugs since they were the only ones provided.
This is one of several lawsuits that have been filed across the country.
