The federal government shutdown has impacted at least one major Austin attraction, the LBJ Library and Museum. It is closed until the shutdown is lifted and the government is reopened again, which will be sometime after Christmas. The Bush Presidential Library in College Station also is shut down for the same reason. The Bush Library in Dallas is partially open, but there isn’t any access to the archives.
