Bee Cave Middle School will open in the fall. The latest demographic survey shows the district ranked third in the state for enrollment of schools with 10,000 or more students, according to Dr. Pat Guseman with Population and Survey Analysts, who says LT’s enrollmeent is seeing an extremely small impact from charter schools, unlike the Austin district.
Those 39 kids account for .3-percent of kids living in the district. By 2020, LTISD’s seventh elementary school is slated for opening.
School boundaries are currently being redrawn to prepare for next year’s opening of Bee Cave Middle School.
