There should be plenty of power to make it through the winter in Texas. ERCOT, the company that manages the state’s power grid, says there are several new power plants coming online, along with new solar and wind power projects. Because of that, we will be able to generate 81,000 megawatts of power, and the projected winter peak is only 58,000 megawatts.
