Austin FC has created a new philanthropic arm called 4-A-T-X Foundations. Its first order of business was palming off a check worth a half-million dollars to the non-profit affordable home builders at Foundation Communities. The Soccer team’s Andy Loughnane says this was part of the deal it made with Austin.
Foundation Communities is hoping to soon break ground on their 25th affordable community, called Waterloo Terrace, near the Domain.
