A man convicted of stealing numerous pairs of women’s underwear at Texas State University has been sentenced to jail time. On February 19, 2020, a judge found Jacob Dale Davidson, 27, guilty on charges of Burglary of a Building at St. Edward’s University. He was sentenced to 18 months by Judge David Wahlberg in 167th District Court.
From October 1-14, 2019, Davidson was accused of breaking into the laundry room of a Community Building at St. Edward’s University and stealing underwear from female student athletes. Witnesses spotted Davidson several times in and around the laundry room. A student caught Davidson climbing through the window of the laundry room and took pictures of him. She turned over the photos to the St. Edward’s University Police Department.
Another student saw Davidson in his car and provided the license plate to campus police. When arrested, police say Davidson had “piles” of underwear in his car.
