DPS troopers are getting ready to crackdown statewide on people who don’t stop for school busses when those red lights are flashing. Trooper Lonny Haschel says fines can be as high as $1,300. He says it’s just not worth it, and endangers the lives of kids getting on and off busses.
The statewide crackdown will start during School Bus Safety Week, which begins Oct. 22.
