Merging the Travis County District Attorney’s Office with the County Attorney’s office could result in cost savings and a more efficient office. Commissioner Jeffrey Travillion appreciates that but has concerns.
There’s more work and discussions to be had before this becomes finalized and the county will have to get approval from the legislature as well.
