The Texas Department of Transportation will be joined by local and county elected officials on Friday, August 8 to cut the ribbon on the I-35 at SH 123 project in Hays County.
This $107 million project reconstructed the I-35 mainlanes and bridge over SH 123/Guadalupe Street, including the northbound and southbound I-35 frontage roads.
The bridges over Willow Springs Creek and the San Marcos River were also reconstructed. Bicycle and pedestrian improvements were also added along the northbound and southbound I-35 frontage roads.
The project also reversed and relocated several entrance and exit ramps and added extended entrance and exit lanes between SH 80 and RM 12.
