Lawmakers talk all the time about fixing the school finance system and lowering property taxes in the process. But, will 2019 actually be the year? Brian Woods with the Texas Association of School Administrators sees support for doing something.
It’s a delicate balancing act between finding more funding for schools from the state to replace lower local property taxes and keeping the system equal between rich and poor districts.
