A San Antonio man is behind bars after posing as an H-E-B employee to evade a hit-and-run arrest.
It started just before 2AM this morning. Bexar County Sheriffs Deputies were called when 28-year-old Orlando Perez-Ortiz was in violation of a protective order filed by his girlfriend. As they arrived he was seen hitting a parked car. then taking officers on a high-speed chase, in excess of 100 miles per hour. It ended in the grocery store parking lot where Perez-Ortiz circled several times before bailing out. He was found moments later impersonating an employee stocking frozen food. He faces multiple charges including evading arrest
