President Trump’s option of diverting disaster relief funds to pay for a border wall is getting more push-back from Texas Senator John Cornyn.
Cornyn told reporters on a conference call that we need to keep the disaster aid money flowing to Texans still healing from Hurricane Harvey and the idea of taking from one to pay for the other doesn’t make sense.
Cornyn also opposes Trump’s idea of using executive power to get the wall built.
