Round Rock ISD to Offer Free Mental Health Services to Students

  • Round Rock ISD students now have access to mental health services
  • Newly opened mental health centers will allow students to meet with mental health professionals and have access to therapy for free
  • Licensed mental health professionals from Bluebonnet Trails Community Services will hold student therapy sessions at two center locations at Cedar Ridge and Round Rock high schools
  • Round Rock ISD will oversee the centers with district counselors working with the licensed therapists in order to support students on campus
  • Consent from a parent or guardian will be required for a student to receive services
  • Student health information is protected under law and all services are confidential
