Austin’s Mayor Steve Adler told Baker he was impressed and pleased with the goals the incoming chief laid out. City Manager Spencer Cronk looks forward to working with the man and was pleased he could approve and support both top public safety officials in the same year.
After getting his new badge, Baker called out to and thanked members of AFD, and promised to meet with them on a regular basis to move the department forward.
