Central Texas Food Bank to Host Emergency Distributions

The Central Texas Food Bank is expanding its outreach to support those impacted by the recent flooding in Central Texas. Beginning this Friday, July 11, CTFB will host two special emergency food distributions in Burnet and Llano County, in addition to ongoing emergency response efforts in Travis County.

“We recognize that in times like these, having access to nutritious food and clean water can help restore strength, stability, and a sense of normalcy during a time of crisis,” said Sari M. Vatske, Central Texas Food Bank President + CEO.

Food distribution sites can be found below:

Burnet County
• July 11, 1-2 p.m., 549 E. FM 243 in Bertram
Llano County
• July 14, 4-6 p.m., Kingsland Community Center, 3451 Rose Hill Drive, Kingsland
Travis County
• Daily, no fixed hours, Round Mountain Baptist Church, 14500 Round Mountain Road, Leander
