The Austin Police will graduate 38 new officers during a ceremony on December 12, 2025. Commencement ceremonies for the 155th Cadet Class will take place at Greater Mt. Zion Church – 4301 Tannehill Ln, Austin, TX 78721.
The 155th graduating cadets, who will be commissioned during the ceremony, successfully completed a 32-week training program, which included legal issues, driving, crisis intervention training, community policing, leadership, defensive tactics, and physical fitness.
During the ceremony, Chief of Police Lisa Davis will administer the oath of office. Various awards highlighting dedication and achievement by individual cadets will also be presented during the ceremony
