A McCallum High School student is arrested for allegedly making a terroristic threat against his school. Austin ISD officials say the student made verbal threats last night. Police were called in to investigate and this morning the student was arrested just before classes were to start. The Principal sent out a letter to parents and faculty saying extra officers were sent to campus as a precaution. The letter said students may be detained or arrested for making terroristic threats even if the threat is not credible.
