The next Texas legislative session gets underway in less than two weeks. Texas Public Policy Foundation economist Dr. Vance Ginn says he’s counting on lawmakers to stem the tide of rising property taxes. It is expected that Governor Abbott will support revenue caps to stop tax hikes, but cities like Austin are expected to oppose them.
