People in the downtown area are wondering what’s the deal with the murky water coming off of Barton Creek into Ladybird Lake. Austin Watershed Protection is investigating and so far it appears to be runoff from the storms last night. Watershed Protection tells Newsradio KLBJ that as of noon, the springs themselves were running clear.
This spring, the City of Georgetown will be asking voters to approve a plan to sell a portion of the city’s water service area.
