Austin-based TreeHouse citing a lack of support for more than one store in the Austin area, is relocating its headquarters to Dallas. The Statesman reports TreeHouse recently expanded to Dallas and Plano.
Described as a cross between the Apple Store and Home Depot, TreeHouse sells eco-friendly home improvement materials and “smart-home” technologies at its store in the Westgate Shopping Center in South Austin. Kusin takes over for founder Jason Ballard, who left a month ago to focus on a new 3-D printing and robotics homebuilding startup.
