Another report is out saying Austin’s Police Department needs a revamp, specifically the Training Academy. The Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats or SWOT assessment was made by an outside research firm and says they found the academy so many problems they recommend a halt to any new cadet class until APD and the city’s Equity office can make and implement a plan to reform training.
