The state of Texas is now running its own depository for precious metals. Kevin Lyons with the Texas Comptroller’s office said the new facility here in Austin guarantees your gold and other metals will be secure.
“It’s a class three vault, it’s the highest rated class three vault,” said Lyons.
The cost of storage depends on the total value of your stash. The Texas bullion depository says all deposits are fully insured through Lloyd’s of London.
