The Downtown Austin Alliance is pumping more events into Republic Square. Already the historic green space hosts a weekly farmers market on Saturday, and the Alliance’s Mindi Thomas says the next two months of Fridays they will host Food Truck Fridays.
In order to make the downtown greenspace more of a destination, Thomas says they’ll host two food tucks at the park every Friday from 11-2 pm through next month.
