Yet another person on a dockless electric scooter has been injured.
Officials say the person was hit by a car early this morning on East 7th Street.
Injuries are said to be non-life threatening. The driver of the vehilce repartedly stayed at the scene to speak with police.
The City of Austin is currently working with the CDC on a study looking at the impacts dockless scooters are having. That information will be used to craft a new safety ordinance next year.
