The Austin Police Department’s Residential Burglary Unit is requesting the public’s help with tracking down the owner of a high-end stolen bicycle that was recently recovered. It’s believed that the bike was custom-made for someone, and it is estimated to be worth around $8,000.
Detectives believe the bike was stolen from a storage unit, and are encouraging bicycle owners or anyone who might have a storage unit to double check their units to make sure nothing has been stolen and that locks are secure.
