Austin City Council will consider giving special pay back to APD officers in the form of stipends that were taken away last month. Calling it a step in the right direction, Austin Police Association President Ken Casaday applauds Austin City Council’s decision to consider restoring lost extra pay cops were getting for working extra shifts, performing mental health services and more.
Council will take up that measure at its next regular meeting next week.
