Changing the face of homelessness is the goal of House The Homeless president Richard Troxell. He’s planning on putting up statues of a homeless black woman and a homeless man with children and a dog to tell the story of people who have nothing.
Troxell is seeking a donation of land for the statues in Austin and will try to put up similar statues in Washington D.C. to drive more atttention and resources to ending homelessness.
