Cracking down on Human Trafficking in Texas is the goal of a new public awareness campaign featuring First Lady Cecilia Abbott. She’s teamed up with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to produce videos to help educate Texans on how to recognize the signs of trafficking.
A recent study out of U-T estimates there are nearly 79-thousand minor and youth victims of sex trafficking in Texas with an additional 234-thousand being trafficked for labor.
