Because of thunderstorms that are heading toward the course the Capitol 10K has been cancelled. Race organizers said “It is with very heavy hearts that we announce that the Cap10K has been canceled. We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience & disappointment. We’re disappointed too, but nothing is more important than the safety of our thousands of runners and volunteers along the course.”
